Currently Noor Homes has Amina House, Jasmine House and our new home, Amira House due to open in the Summer of 2023. Offering bespoke support packages for young people aged 16+.
Jasmine House and Amina House are both situated in central and accessible locations, with education and health services in walking distance and excellent public transport links. Amira House will be much the same, making sure the young people can live at ease. Each home is also equipped with 24 hour CCTV, WIFI and out of hours services.
Each young person is unique and there needs will reflect this, but please see some of things each of our homes can offer
Amina & Jasmine House offer communal living for young people 16+ with shared access of a large garden, living room, kitchen and bathroom.
Young people coming to Amina or Jasmine House will receive a comprehensive needs assessment on entry and this informs the level of support that they will then receive. This accommodation should be considered for young people moving towards independence but who still require a high level of support. It may also be beneficial for young people who do not wish to be in accommodation with a large number of other young people.
All of the young people staying in Amina or Jasmine House will be allocated a key worker to provide regular support, ensuring the promotion and development of all of that young persons needs, as well as preparation for independence. As part of every young person's journey through Amina or Jasmine House, they will receive regular key work sessions, with specific packages arranged with the referring agencies in advance.
Using an onsite office and counselling room, young people can be provided with a safe environment to participate in evidenced based support sessions. Staff are trained and able to provide high levels of support and interventions to support young people with complex needs such as mental health needs, substance misuse, challenging behaviour and trauma recovery.
Intensive support plans in addition to the provision of a 24 hour service can be put in place following confirmation with the referring agency.
Amira House offers 6 bedrooms a property, in the heart of Southampton with each young person having their own private bedroom, but all other facilities being communal.
